Xiaomi posted on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo to announce its high-speed 80W wireless charging technology. According to the company, the technology can charge a 4,000mAh battery in just 19 minutes. The company hasn’t announced any phone that supports 80W wireless charging, but Post says the era of wireless charging will soon replace wired charging. Xiaomi has also shared a video on its YouTube channel showing 80W wireless charging working on the modified Mi 10 Pro.
Xiaomi’s Weibo post comes with a poster stating that its 80W wireless charging technology can charge a 4000mAh battery in just 19 minutes. You can take from 0 to 50% of the battery in just 8 minutes. The company does not share whether it will first launch a phone or wireless charger that supports 80W wireless charging. Xiaomi feels that wireless charging will soon replace wired charging.

The company stated that it used the Mi 10 Pro at a rate to show a fast charging speed of 80W. This indicates that the phone can be from 0 to 10% in just one minute, from 10 to 50% in 8 minutes, and 100% in 19 minutes. The modified Mi 10 Pro is placed on a stand with wireless charging. This also appears on the label.
In March, the company demonstrated its 40W wireless charging technology.
