We’re about to end the release of Far Cry 6, and ahead of the game’s release, Ubisoft has decided to donate one of the older games from the Far Cry series. For the rest of the week, Ubisoft will distribute free copies of Far Cry 3 to almost anyone who wants them. Unfortunately, this raffle offer is only available on a PC, so on consoles, players will have to sit here.

In any case, Ubisoft will donate Far Cry 3 from now until September 11 at 2:30 p.m. local time. Claiming a game is a fairly simple process, and you’ll first need to visit the offers page of the Ubisoft website to get started. Click the Ubisoft Connect PC button at the bottom of that page, log in to your Ubisoft account (or create one if you don’t already have one), and then the game will be added to your Ubisoft Connect library.

Unfortunately, Ubisoft Connect is the only platform on which you can redeem this free copy of Far Cry 3, so no copy can be found here on Steam or even the Epic Games Store. Of course, this shouldn’t come as a surprise, given that Ubisoft has long pushed its own store to other platforms, but it can still be annoying for those who don’t mind many different stores for computer games. Still, a free game is a free game, and while we’d guess that most people who wanted to play Far Cry 3 have done so by now, it doesn’t make the game a whole lot better if you’ve never done it before.
