Microsoft has launched the Surface Laptop Go in India as the most affordable laptop to sell because it sits directly above the Surface Go tablet. Surface Laptop Go is basically a 12-inch Windows 10 laptop with all the features you need to deliver the right Windows 10 experience. Microsoft uses a slightly older 10th generation Intel Core processor for this model.

Consumer variations start at a low price of Rs 71,999 and commercial versions start at a low price of Rs 63,499.
The Surface Laptop Go-based edition for consumers starts at Rs 71,999 with a 10th generation Core i5 processor, 8 GB RAM, and 128 GB storage.

Using the same Core i5 processor and 8GB of RAM, there is a 256GB storage variant that costs 91,999 rupees. Commercial customers will get a basic and affordable version of Rs 6,3499 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. You also have the option to choose the ultimate variation with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The cost is 110,999 rupees.

Surface Laptop Go is basically a 12 ” Windows 10 laptop designed for students and businesses. The screen size is 12.4 inches with an aspect ratio of 3: 2 and supports touch screen input. The laptop is lightweight at 1.11kg but has a full-sized QWERTY keyboard and trackpad.
It uses the Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor in its full range and offers a variety of RAM and storage capacities. Except for the base model that uses eMMC storage, all other variants are based on SSD storage. Connectivity options for this laptop include a USB Type-C port, a USB Type-A port, 3.5mm headphone penetration, Wi-Fi 6: 802.11ax, and Bluetooth 5.0. You can run it on Windows 10 S as it is, so you can’t install the app from outside the Microsoft Store.

Surface Laptop Go also offers convenience with a fingerprint sensor reader that takes advantage of Windows Hello. You can also use the same method to protect OneDrive Personal Vault files. Microsoft also offers built-in studio microphones, multi-loudspeakers, Dolby audio, and 720p HD cameras to enhance video calls.

While these come via well-designed options across price categories, alternatives with similar prices offer much better specifications. Some variants of Surface Laptop Go directly compete with HP Envy and Asus Zenbook 13 laptops.
