According to some reports, Redmi will soon launch three new smartphones in its home country. Reports say that two of them will be 4G devices (powered by Snapdragon SoC) while the other will be a 5G smartphone (powered by MediaTek Dimension SoC). So far, we have three phone codenames: Rainbow (4G), Camellia (4G), and Iris (5G). Retail names have not been confirmed for any of those devices.

In the camera section, this phone is likely to offer a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary sensor with 2MP depth and a 2MP macro shooter. For selfies, this phone will have an 8MP selfie snapper on the front.

Redmi 20 Display and Processor specification

Another interesting report has surfaced about Redmi’s next 5G smartphone in China, stating that it will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10 5G, with the retail name probably being the Redmi 20X.

According to the specifications, the Redmi 20X will run on the Android 11 operating system and will feature the MediaTek Disability 700 5G chipset. For display, this phone is expected to offer a 6.5-inch FHD + IPS LCD panel with a refresh rate of 90 inches.

Its 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant is likely to be priced at 999 Yuan (~$153) in China.
