PUBG Corporation is considering hiring an investment and strategic analyst in India. According to LinkedIn job listings, the recruitment is for Bangalore sites. However, please note that this does not indicate that PUBG Mobile has been relaunched in India.
Responsibility for this role is to conduct research and analysis of the gaming / entertainment / technology industry. PUBG Mobile India’s latest vacancies are full-time opportunities, with candidates “supporting the strategic planning process of key companies and working across business and management/development/deployment capabilities to formulate and coordinate corporate strategies. Job listing details Krafton, owner of PUBG Mobile, based in South Korea. A Krafton reporter recently said in a statement to Sportskeeda that the company is awaiting approval and feedback from the Government of India to resume PUBG Mobile India in India.

Sean Hyunil Sohn, Krafton’s Head of Corporate Development, said at the India Games 2021 conference that he is working hard to bring PUBG Mobile back to India. For those who don’t know, PUBG Mobile was banned in India last September, along with hundreds of other Chinese apps in cybersecurity concerns.
Does Pubg come back to India?
This game is locally banned under Article 69A of the Information Technology Law. Since the ban in India, Krafton has continued its efforts to restart the game in the country, considering India to be one of the biggest.
Of course, the job listing does not confirm the resumption of the game in India, but it does indicate that the company is trying to expand its team in India. However, a recent statement by Kraston representatives indicates that PUBG Mobile India may return soon.
According to a report by Sportskeeda, citing a source Kraston close to development: “We are waiting for the Government of India to consider and decide on their next plan with PUBG in the region.”
