OnePlus has announced a new initiative that it says will allow students and faculty members of thousands of colleges and universities in India to receive discounts on the company’s smartphones and TVs. The program, dubbed OnePlus Education Benefits, offers a fixed amount. 1,000 discounts on new OnePlus smartphones and OnePlus TVs, plus 5% off any OnePlus accessories.

OnePlus said on its official forum that the program covers 760 universities and 38,498 colleges across India. To be eligible for the discount, students and faculty will need to prove their membership in any of the partner institutions through Student Beans.
