On Tuesday, the Instagram photo-sharing app introduces the augmented reality (AR) filter “Share Your Light” to provide a fun way for people to share their ideas at upcoming festivals.

Launched before Diwali, the AR filter is inspired by the lights and colors of the cordial mandala and colors of the festival.

When the Effects Gallery opens, you can use “Celebrate Zia” to find your effects.

This effect is available in seven languages: English, Hindi, Marathi, Bengal, Tamil, Portuguese, and Urdu.

“Instagram is a cultural center and a place where people can express themselves freely,” said Manish Chopra, Director and Partnership Director at Facebook India.

“We are looking forward to using the AR effect in all upcoming festivals.”

The Facebook-owned app has also announced hosting IGTV shows by content creators such as Shirley Sesha, Kushakapira, and Arjan Chenango.

IGTV features original content focused on the creators and their passions.
