To make a payment to one of your contacts, wherever you are in India, you can follow the steps below:
Step 1: First of all, open Google Pay on your smartphone.
Step 2: On the home screen tap on “New Payment”, it will take you to the payment options.
Step 3: Tap on Bank Transfer option on the new screen.
Step 4: Once you have selected the bank transfer, the screen will ask you for the following information.
- Enter the Recipient Name
- Recipient account number and re-enter once again.
- Enter the IFSC code
Step 5: Enter all the required details and press Continue.
Note: Just make sure you enter the correct information. Because once you send the money, the transaction cannot be canceled.
Step 6: Enter the price. You can also add details if you wish and press Done (Continue arrow).
Step 7: On the next page, select the bank account and press Continue to make the payment.
Step 8: Enter your UPI PIN and press Done (tick).
