How to create zoom meeting on Desktop?
Step 1: To get started with Zoom, go to their website and click the “Sign Up” button in the upper right corner of the screen.
You have two options when it comes to creating a Zoom account.
you can either:
- Create a new account using your work email address.
- Sign in with SSO (single sign-on) or your Google or Facebook account.
If you use Zoom for a company meeting or other work purpose, it’s best to sign up with your work email address.
Step 3: Zoom will now send you an email with a confirmation link.
Click on that link to go to Zoom’s sign-up assistant and log in with your credentials.
Step 4: Download the desktop app/Zoom client from the Zoom website for easy access.
Step 5: Hover over the “Host a meeting” link in the top right corner of the screen and select one of the following options:
- With Video On
- With Video Off
- Screen Share Only
Step 6: On the next page, you have the option to add the meeting to your Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, or Yahoo Calendar. Or, you can copy the invitation link and share it out with your guests.
How to create zoom meeting on Mobile?
To set up a Zoom meeting on your phone, go to New Meeting > Start Meeting > Participants > Invite. Then choose to send an email, text message, or another way to invite your contacts to the meeting.
Step 1: Open the Zoom app and tap Sign In. You will see this in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
Step 2: Then enter your email address and password and tap Sign In.
Step 3: Next, tap the New Meeting icon. This is the video camera icon with an orange background.
Step 4: Then tap Start a Meeting. You will then be taken to the video conference room.
Step 5: Tap OK to allow Zoom to access your camera and microphone. If you don’t want to turn on your video and microphone, you can tap Cancel.
Step 6: Then tap Participants. You can find this icon at the bottom of the screen.
Step 7: Next, tap Invite. You will see this in the bottom-left corner of your screen. Once you tap this, you will see a pop-up menu with different options on how to invite guests.
Step 8: Choose how you want to invite guests. You can choose to send an email, a text message, invite contacts from your Zoom app, or copy the invite link.
