Reliable insiders announced in April of this year that Samsung will launch a 600-megapixel sensor in the future on the network under the pseudonym Ice Universe. It goes beyond the capabilities of the human eye. Currently, insiders are confirming that such a sensor is already under development.
SAMSUNG IS PREPARING A 600-MEGAPIXEL CAMERA FOR SMARTPHONES
The insider has repeatedly confirmed that he is in contact with the development department of a Korean company. His words are definitely worth listening to, as he first published the true photo of the Galaxy S20 and many other trusted sources.
This photo shows what a 600-megapixel camera would look like on a smartphone if Samsung hadn’t radically changed the technology. In this case, the camera alone occupies 12% of the back panel area. And the camera module protrudes 22mm above the back panel of the smartphone. Of course, this is so inconvenient that it would be very interesting to see how Samsung applies such high resolutions to the next generation ISOCELL sensors.
A smartphone equipped with this camera is unlikely to hit the market next year. After Samsung’s 108MP image sensor, insiders are expecting a 192MP sensor.
